The house old fashioned is actually great which is why it pains me to leave this review but I’ve never been treated so rudely by a bartender before. Ordered two drinks at the bar and paid when a friend I hadn’t seen in years called my name. I talked to him for maybe 45 seconds when the bartender got my attention and said “hey these are your drinks. Take them now or else I’m going to throw them out”. I get it was a busy night but that’s an absolutely psycho thing to say to a customer and extremely unprofessional. My drink was great but couldn’t really get over that and and left after one round to go to Thunderbolt. No place that makes an old fashioned that good should be treating customers like that and holding themselves to such low standards of service. Super disappointing. Was here March 7th around 10:30pm
Atmosphere 6/10 Cool, dark atmosphere with a main focus on the bar area. Back area looks cool. The crowd gets a bit creepy and weird towards late hours… might be an area-related thing. Bar seating is very limited because of the counter-order concept. Drinks 4/10 Recommendation: - Menu is QR only, which is a minus point. The drinks are super basic. I didn’t taste any “twist” which they advertise on the menu for classic drinks. Glassware is very basic, almost cheap. Cool coasters. Service 3/10 Basically no service. Everything is self-service or upon request. For drinks, you have to line up at the bar and wait for your turn to order. Average prices for LA.
Great bar, cocktails were well crafted and yummy - gave us water and refilled throughout. Chill but fun atmosphere. Will definitely be back!
We came here specifically during the Black Lagoon pop-up. It honestly was just the same type of service with some added Halloween decorations. Lucky for them I LOVE Halloween decorations. We didn’t try food and just stuck to drinks but we liked them all. I tried a new IPA and everyone in my party tried various new drinks and all really enjoyed them. Great decorations indeed and will come back during the non-Halloween things!
