We celebrated our wedding anniversary sitting outside watching the ice skaters at Serea. The food was very good- the crusted tuna was our favorite. Our server was very friendly and helpful, however the service was a little slow. The prices were fairly high with our bill being north of $300 (including tip) for 2 of us ordering 2 starters, 1 entree, 1 side, 1 dessert, 2 cocktails and 1 glass of wine.

With the absence of a fine dining experience (really miss Prince of Wales), we decided to do Serea for the first time for a special occasion. First was the noise. A big part of this was the hard surfaces there with nothing to really cushion the sound - by the time the restaurant was full, I could barely hear my husband right next to me. Hard to enjoy a good meal with a constant racket. Service was slow. Waitress was nice, but we barely saw her. I'm not overly opposed to this as a nice meal is supposed to take a while, but we kind of felt forgotten at times. But the big issue was the food. It was ... meh. Seafood platter was mostly overcooked and I had an espresso martini that was pretty weak (and I'm NOT a drinker so usually I enjoy a weak drink) and had a gritty bottom like a bunch of grounds were in there. I had the chicken which was not bad, but just not worth the price. Ended with the hazelnut chocolate cake which was a bit dry. None of the food was BAD, but given the price tag I don't feel we got what we paid for.

Serea is the perfect spot for outdoor dining with a breathtaking ocean view. 🌊 The food was just as amazing as the scenery. We started with the Grilled Octopus for an appetizer and had the Spicy Lobster Rigatoni as the main—both were absolutely delicious! 🍝🐙 There’s so much joy in having a wonderful meal with such a stunning backdrop.

We had dinner at Serea on Christmas night 2025. We had very high expectations and were fairly disappointed. Parking was absolutely miserable - valet was the only decent option and took over a half hour to get to after dealing with numerous angry drivers and being honked at consistently for not being willing to pull into a crosswalk. The best part of the night was our server, he was very nice and apparently has worked there over 20 years (so, he should be great!). The Octopus and Baja Kampachi were the highlights of the meal. But, the Petite Platter was TERRIBLE and SO EXPENSIVE. The oysters were not even separated from the shell... honestly very upsetting. And since that cost nearly half of the meal, we expected much higher quality. The hotel itself was pretty but WAY TOO BUSY, especially if you have children with special needs -- not hospitable. Will not be returning in this lifetime. Oh, and good luck finding a restroom! 🤣

Nice restaurant on the ground floor of Hotel Del Coronado having the beach. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Food is good but service is slow.
