I can't believe it took me this long to write this review. The atmosphere here is unmatched by any restaurant or bar in LA. The build-out is well thought out and authentic, truly a unique experience. The drinks and service are both amazing. The 70's and 80's playlist from the DJ was perfect! What a refreshing change from average bar music, this was well thought out. We're already looking forward to our next visit.
Phenomenal find! This hidden-ish jewel is midday cocktail perfection. Think exposed brick, vintage umbrellas, leather couches, velvet upholstered chairs, well-curated music. Can’t wait you come back at night and sit beneath the twinkle lights on the open-air patio.
I’ve been here twice and each time it wasn’t that busy, so I’m speaking from that experience. The service was great. I sat at the bar and each time the bartender was very attentive. The drinks were great and the tacos (steak and fish) were really good! A bit over priced, steak $6 per taco and $5.50 for the fish tacos. But take that from someone who is from Texas and believes most prices in LA are over priced. Overall I had a great experience and will definitely come back once I sell an organ to afford more of those battered fish tacos cause they slapped!! (as the kids say)…or they were busin. I’m not exactly sure what the kids are saying, point is they’re damn good!!
My new fav spot in LA. Awesome team, great cocktails and the best veggie taco I ever had
My favorite place, day or night. You walk through to the courtyard in the back and it feels like you've stepped out of LA into a hidden little world. By day the light is perfect for catching up with friends (or making new ones), and at night the candles make everything warm and glowy. You just don't want to leave. The bar inside is just as good. The post-Prohibition decor feels like it's been there for 100 years. The staff are so kind, drinks are delicious, and it always feels like a home away from home. Can't believe I've never written this review before. Go sit at the bar. Order everything.
