Henrietta is worthy of the praise and accolades it’s been receiving. I went for lunch today and all dishes were incredible. To start I ordered the heirloom beans with red onion, feta and cucumber. It was a fantastic dish - the beans were creamy, the cucumbers crunchy and the tangy dressing and feta brought it all together. Thankfully they said it’s a regular in the menu. My friend ordered the Asparagus & Avocado salad. The greens were vibrant, the quinoa gave it some texture and the tahini dressing was really flavorful. It’s more than your average salad. The Chicken Milanese had made my “Best Sandwiches” list in LA. I ordered it with the Caesar Aioli salad n the side, and was happy not using it. The sandwich wasn’t dry without it. The crunch of the chicken and the tangy dressing of the cheese were a tremendous combo. I will be back for the beans and can’t wait to try the Mushroom Dip. Beyond the food, the space is inviting and the service is warm and friendly. Definitely a top spot in the city for elevated food. Bonus: they have a great wine selection.

Henrietta was a total standout. My boyfriend and I snagged counter seats at 5:30 on a Friday (!!) and it was the perfect way to experience it—warm, cozy, thoughtfully decorated, and front-row kitchen views (plus inside recipe secrets + meeting Cosmo…the fish guy!). We over-ordered (no regrets): the Bluefin Tuna “Crudo” was perfectly balanced, the Beef Tartare Toast made me a pickled pumpkin believer, and the Ricotta Dumplings absolutely lived up to the hype—get bread for that unreal broth. Don’t sleep on the fried broccolini (tempura-ish and honestly life-changing) or the Henrietta potatoes (steamed, mashed, then double fried…WOAH). Service was SUCH a highlight too—friendly, knowledgeable servers, a food runner who matched our sense of humor, and the (I think!) sous chef gave us extra insight into the dishes. Can’t wait to come back (and I hear the lunchtime sandos are fire).

We sat inside and the atmosphere was really nice for a date spot. I’m vegetarian and my husband eats meat so we ordered the baguette with jam/cheese, the ricotta dumplings, the half chicken, potatoes and broccolini. Everything was delicious—if I had to skip one thing, it may have been the baguette with the jam. For $20, it didn’t wow us and there was nothing special about it. The showstoppers of the dinner were the potatoes and broccolini. Please get them both! I’d go back just for those two! My husband enjoyed the chicken and said that salad that it came with was really good. I knocked down a star because I was a little shocked when the ricotta dumpling dish came out with only 2 dumplings rather than the 3 that I had seen in prior photos. We were a little fearless in asking about why 2 and not 3 and our server said that they used to do 3 when the restaurant opened up. Lol I thought this restaurant was new-new? Anyways, that was $28 for 2 dumplings. Also we waited almost 30 minutes for main course to come out; the coursing was off. My main was served as an app so I was just eating the sides while my husband ate the chicken. They also gave us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary, which was incredibly sweet.

Every dish was fantastic! Persimmon salad (the buttermilk dressing is insane), ricotta dumplings, fried broccoli (sleeper hit everyone was getting the potatoes but we went for green!), fish with grapes and persimmon chips, oh and the apple galette! 🤤 Such a special meal, the servers and owner who spoke with us were a delight and the ambience was perfect. We got advice on what to order from the diners who sat before us and gave our advice to the diners who arrived after. It was just such a warm and delightful environment. Can’t wait to return!
