Underrated happy hour in Weho!!! Great outdoor patio vibe, a delicious $4.20 smash burger (in this economy?!?), and tons of discounted drinks and apps. We got multiple glasses of rose (not too sweet) and PBRs, the Brussels sprouts (yum), the burger, and the half Caesar to split. Loved it all! Will be back for sure

I have never hated a place like this and here's why: Apparently, for happy hour, you are told that you can only sit in designated areas. Booths are for the "real paying customers". Way to discourage your paying customers from spending more, and congrats on insulting them. Secondly, the bites were not good. The place looks interesting from the outside but actually isn't. When I closed out my tab, the bartender seemed to have an attitude as well. Third, parking here is a drag. I do not recommend this place.

This was a really cool spot with a different feel than a basic Hollywood bar or restaurant. The old train station/Old Hollywood style gives it a lot of personality, and it has a good mix of cocktails, food, and a relaxed but fun atmosphere. It feels like the kind of place that works for a date night, drinks with friends, or grabbing a burger and hanging out for a while. The cocktails were definitely a highlight, and the whole place had a vibe that made it feel worth checking out. I’d come back again.

We went to the Electric Owl a little while ago, just after Ozzy had passed. They had an Ozzy tribute playing the entire time we were there. But this is about food, service, and ambiance, not Ozzy. There is parking on site, paid parking, but there is parking right at the restaurant. We lucked out and found street parking very close. The décor is really well thought out and maybe even classy. The train coach feeling is real and well done. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and checks in the right amount of the time. Water glasses kept being refilled, the waiter checked in several times, even to make sure it was not too loud. It was not. It was Ozzy! We got the Dynamite Krab fries. Oh, these are good. Good size cuts on the French fries, not too small so everything falls off, not so large that all you seem to get is potato. Great flavors and texture. And a good amount of food on the plate. We also got the L.A. Smash as well as the Grill Daddy Burger. The Grill Daddy Burger was cooked to a good medium, still juicy, not undercooked, just right. And the bun and toppings were a great match. The bun didn’t fall apart too fast, not too many toppings, but still a handful. And the flavors, so good. It works well. The L.A. Smash was good as well. Good size, great flavor, not overwhelming. The folks there all seemed to be enjoying themselves. We arrived early, but the place was filling up when we were leaving. I need to go back and try some of the other things out here. It is definitely worth a revisit.

I really wanted to like this place more because it’s in such a cool corner location right on Sunset but everything was a bit forgettable. Starting with the drinks. The espresso martini and old fashioned were pretty average - not bad or anything but just nothing I’d order again. I was expecting more from the burger and fries but they just tasted like your average bar food. I wish I could give them a higher rating because our bartender was friendly but nothing here was memorable or above average unfortunately. Judging from some of the reviews maybe the quality has gone down because they have some great reviews so was expecting more.
