As soon as you walk into the building, it is on your right hand side. They focus on grilled cheese sandwiches, both normal and vegetarian vegan options.
I ordered the Hot Chick sandwhich and it was an interesting twist on grilled cheese. The bread was amazingly crispy and the cheese was gooey. The marinated chicken paired nicely with the caramelized onions. I wish I lived near the Packing House so I could come back. It was delicious!
This is an iconic Packing District stop, but for me, the experience was just okay. The bread itself was great, and the grill on it was perfect. However, the bread to filling ratio felt off...there was just too much bread in every bite. Service wasn’t particularly friendly, though they did their job. Standard pocket shop vibe.
Fantastic grilled cheese! Ordered the #6 Classic and #7 Just Kraft + bacon and both were exactly what you’d crave in a perfectly grilled cheese… Crispy hot on the outside and an incredible melt in your mouth cheese pull! Highly recommend a side of their tomato soup as well. Service was very friendly and the chef was so kind to answer any of our questions regarding ingredients/allergens. Definitely a top spot for our family to visit on our next trip to Anaheim!
Amazing Grilled Cheese and Stunning Views! I recently visited Black Sheep Grilled Cheese Bar and was absolutely blown away! The sandwich I had was nothing short of perfection—crispy on the outside, gooey and flavorful on the inside. The combination of cheeses and ingredients was top-notch, making it one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I’ve ever had. To top it off, the ambiance of the place is just beautiful. The bar is situated in a unique space with lots of natural light and lush greenery hanging from above, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down to enjoy the view, this spot is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
