Cute little spot in the heart of dtla. The vibes are immaculately CDMX. Theres some murals, papel picado, pinball machines, a Photo Booth, and a pool table. From what I gather there’s a taco guy right outside the front door that starts around 6pm. I had to leave and didn’t get to try the tacos. Great little place if you’re looking to enjoy some Cafe Tacvba or some Elli Guerra with your beer and tacos. No private parking, best to come on foot via the metro or the bus.
I pass this place everyday and I finally ended up checking it out and I’m so glad I did . Everything about this place was awesome ! They had cheap drinks , a great live band , classic arcade games and an amazing bar staff . The door guy (I think his name was Brian) was definitely super cool and nice to talk to before entering the bar which made me feel very welcomed ! :)
Beyond happy with the security at this place. You're definitely safe here even when certain patrons decide to cause a problem. All of the bartenders and security guards are BRILLIANT and the prices are pretty good too.
Not worth the hype. This bar got shut down for vermin a few months back . A basebennt bar with roaches crawling around and over priced drinks . 20 dollars for a beer and shot. Long line on the weekends for no reward. You're better off going to La Cita, Perlas , or La Caña Rum bar. 7th and Grand upstairs is a way better environment. The bar manager is absolutely the worst . AVOID THIS PLACE.
Great bar in DTLA. Mateo and Ian made some great drinks.
