Came here with my gal pals. We were excited to see the hype. Restaurant was nostalgic, felt like you’re in Italy. Brunch menu was lacking the variety. Few pasta choices, compared to the busy restaurants across the street. Ordered the Salmon w/asparagus & spinach which was excellent. The service was pretty non-existent, waitress didn’t know the menu and she overcharged us by $30. No bread plate either. Twice another waiter brought plates that we didn’t order. The staff seemed checked out and the restaurant wasn’t that busy. The bathroom was a disaster.
Located in Little Italy, this gem of a place has my heart. The bolognese meat sauce was so good. So flavorful. The oysters were fresh and the dipping sauces were on point. You get a bottle of champagne and a dozen oysters for $45! The ambiance is just so perfect and the service was great as well. Wish we had this back home… great weekend brunch spot.🍋
The food is excellent We sat at the lemon garden patio Every dish is unique with fresh ingredients. The chef change the ingredients of the cheese wheel every day, our order was prepared with porcini and truffle oil We tried different deserts, teramissu is the winner, the lemon sorbet is a pleasure to the taste and eyes. If you like fresh oysters go at the happy hour, they are half price.
We came here for a date night, and we loved the food, the ambience and the service! Busy Saturday nights, so reserve a table in advance for zero wait times. We ordered a bunch of stuff, but our favorite was the Caprese Burrata - fresh burrata and pesto with the sweetest heirloom tomatoes paired with just the right amount of olive oil and fig balsamic vinegar.. Definitely a must try!! Oh, and they also have an in-house photographer who clicks your pictures. You can purchase it from them if you like any, they frame it for you. :)
Allegro was wonderful. The atmosphere is so cute, the pasta was delicious, and I can’t wait to come back! Alessio was my waiter and he was wonderful! He had so much knowledge on the food and was very kind. All of the staff were very kind. Alessio went out of his way to make sure it was a great experience.
